Evaluate the relationship between spiritual health and life expectancy in patients with breast cancer OMID hospital in Mashhad in 2015

Background and object: Cancer is a non-infectious chronic diseases. Spiritual health unit staff that coordinate physical and psychosocial Dimension and for adjustment toillness is necessary . Hope important adjustment mechanism in chronic diseases such as cancer as a complex, multi-dimensional and powerful and potentially effective in improving compatibility definedThis study aimed to investigate the relationship between spiritual health and life expectancy in patients with breast cancer hospitalization was to omid hospital in Mashhad. Methods: This was a cross-sectional descriptive study. The study population consisted of all patients with breast cancer hospitalization was to omid hospital in Mashhad. sample size was determined in consultation with the population, to approach available to 80 individuals, as the sample studied. To collect the data, Palutzian and Ellison spiritual health standard questionnaire was used life expectancy Schneider. Descriptive and inferential statistics and using SPSS version 18 was analyzed. Results: The mean score of spiritual health (88/03±12/6) was moderate. The mean life expectancy (38/53±6/19) was moderate. Between spiritual health and life expctancy a positive and meaningful relationship was observed. Conclusion: According to the results of this study suggest that health policy makers put more emphasis on strengthening the spiritual health of patients, one of the factors influencing the life expectancy of cancer patients have.
