چکیده مقاله:

A brain tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within the brain or surrounding tissues. The spike train, which contains the information related to the time of occurrence of the neuronal discharge, and also the local field potentials (LFPs) are useful information that can be extracted from the brain recordings. Due to the multicomponent nature of LFP signals, signal components are obtained using a set of low-pass filters before plotting a raster plot and calculating phase locking value (PLV). In this approach, we showed that the rate of neuronal firing in the nervous system of people with brain tumors undergoes changes and does not remain constant. These changes are such that the neuronal firing rate increases in the brain tumor area compared to the state where there is no tumor. Also, in this study, we showed that between the area involved in the tumor, i.e., the primary motor cortex area, and ۵ different brain areas, including the V۱, PFC, PMC, SMA, PAC areas, the amount of locking is significant and significant.
