A Review of the Method of Ruling of Prophet Muhammad in Medina

Establishing a government and ruling a society can both guide and save humans maintain the goals of Islamic community. Hence, the holy prophet of Islam (PBUH) established a government immediately after he migrated to Medina. The thought of ruling, based on the Qur an and the guidance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to his companions, reflects the innate sense of human in establishing government. The investigation of necessity and parameters of ruling in the thought and behavior of prophet is of high importance. The method of ruling of the Prophet which refers to his approach and methodology in different aspects of government including education, society, economy, defense, etc., is very wide. Some of the most important features of his approach are: tolerating the opponents: the prophetic age, the age of the establishment of the Islamic system, and the development of Islamic beliefs among the people. That is why the behavior of the Prophet (PBUH) was associated with tolerance so that people could accept the principle of religion in society
