Digital supply chain and its role in sustainable production

In recent decades, digital transformation in the supply chain has been raised as a strategic and fundamental necessity for achieving sustainable and competitive production. Focusing on the impacts of the digital supply chain, this article examines the relationship between new technologies and improving sustainability indicators in environmental, economic and social dimensions. Using quantitative research methods and case studies, data collected from various manufacturing industries has been analyzed. The results show that technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and blockchain play an important role in increasing productivity, reducing waste and increasing transparency in supply chain processes. As a result, the implementation of these technologies not only leads to improved economic performance and cost reduction, but also has a positive impact on achieving sustainable development goals and environmental protection. These findings highlight the strategic importance of digital transformation in the supply chain for the future of industries.
