چکیده مقاله:

Background: central nervous system (CNS) is made up of thebrain and spinal cord. Abnormal growth in nervous mass ofcells in different part of the brain also, spinal cords are calledCNS tumors which can be malignant (cancerous) or benign. itshould be noticed that about one-third of those are malignantand each type could impact brain function and individual healththerefore accurate diagnosis of its type and the grade based onmolecular and genetic information of the patient's tumor is verysensible and important for prognosis of the disease. Results andConclusion: Currently the incidence of CNS tumorsarrive to ۱۵% to ۲۰% of all malignancies in childhoodand adolescence, considering the widespread spectrum of CNSsymptoms and signs; the use of molecular–genetic informationfor the personalized approach of CNS tumors becomes moreand more pivotal every day. The reports demonstrated that thegreat histopathological variation of the brain tumors not onlydepends on the mass location on central nervous system and thetype of affected cell or the grade of the tumor but also it relieson personal genomics and the molecular cell biology of the patients. For instance, patients whose tumors have co-deletion inchromosome ۱p and ۱۹q respond better to PCV irradiation thanthe others have not. To achieve this goal based on our knowledgetoday for what is the best therapy or diagnosis method selectedto manage the CNS tumor patients the scientific societyshould take along valid way.
