چکیده مقاله:

Background: The purpose of this study was to explore the challenges of the Nemad project in Iranian schools based on stakeholders' views.Methods: This research is a qualitative study of contractual content analysis. Participants in the study were ۲۱ experts in the field of social harm prevention and mental health promotion at the senior, intermediate and operational levels in educational institutions and schools, Ministry of Health, Judiciary, Planning and Budget Organization, Project Technical Officers, which were selected in a purpose-based manner. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed through coding, classification, and main themes.Results: ۶ main themes include Inefficiency in resource management, weaknesses in program organization, laws/regulations/policies challenges, policy implementation, Structural factors, weaknesses in educational processes, and weaknesses in monitoring and evaluation.Conclusion: According to experts, the status of implementation of the mental and social programs in schools is not in a desirable situation and has challenges.
