چکیده طرح پژوهشی:

Salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, bordetella bronchiseptica, mycoplasmosis and helicobacter are common bacterial infectious in mice and rat with different clinical signs. Salmonella bacteria can cause infectious in mice and rat at any age. A bordetella bronchiseptica bacterium is common upper respiratory tract infectious in mice and rat and has been seen in other animals such as rabbit and guinea Pig and it is a frequent cause of pneumonia in rat and mice. Pasteurella multocida SPP is upper respiratory tract flora in rodent and could be isolated from rat and mice lungs. Mycoplasma pulmonis is the most common causes of disease in mice and rats with highly contagious. This study was done based on the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA) recommendation for the health monitoring of mouse and rat. Tissue samples were collected from nasopharynx, secum, spleen and gastric of mice and rats ( - weeks) for microbial monitoring during months. Calculation of the number of animals was monitored based on sample size formula (Sample size= Log . / Log N). Results demonstrated that all of animals % were free of pathogenic bacteria such as salmonella SPP, bordetella bronchiseptica SPP, Pasteurellaceae SPP, helicobacter SPP, streptococcus pneumoniae SPP, beta-hemolytic streptococci SPP and group A streptococcus bacterium. Mycoplasma SPP was isolated from the nasopharynx of four rats ( %) and one mouse (% . ), non-pathogenic of streptococci SPP was isolated from % nasopharynxes. E.coli was isolated from % secum and proteus was also isolated from % of secum of mice and rats. We conclude that the suspected prevalence rate of mycoplasmosis in population of rat and mice of Razi Institute is % (confidence level: . %) and the prevalence rate of pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacteria of mentioned in this study was zero. Key Words: Health Monitorin, Salmonela, Bordetella Bronchiseptica, Pasteurella, Helicobacter, Streptococcus Pneumonia.
