To study the response of Durum and Bread wheat genotypes to sowing dates, an experiment with 16 different genotypes as sub-plot factor and four levels of planting dates including 6 Mehar (28,oct),20 Aban (20,Nov), 6 Azar(27,Nov) and 20 Azar (11 ,.DEC) as the main- plot factor by means of split- plot based on a randomized complete block design in three replications at khorramabad station during 2008-2010 was done. The data were combined analysis and the traits , average were compared by Dun cans multiple Range test method. The coefficient of correlation, group comparison of Durum and Bread wheat types and their traits variation percentage were calculated. The biennial results showed that the year effect on grain yield , biological yield at 5% and other traits, except harvest index and straw yield at 1% level were significant . the first year had the higher grain yield (6.012t/ha).In different sowing dates the significance among the traits were high except for plant height trait . The grain yield (6.273t/ha) was found during the second planting date for most of traits. Bilateral and trilateral interactions showed statistical difference. The highest significance difference was found among the genotypes traits. Dena , D-84-9,S-83-3,S- 83-4 and S-84-14 with grain yield 6.175,6.129,6.373 and 6.277 t/ha , respectively, and they were the best genotypes. There wasnot a statistical difference between wheat groups .In comparison to bread wheat, Durum types showed 18.9% increase 1000 seed weight , 20.4% and 18.5% decrease in spike and seed number per meter square, respectively .The correlation among yield components was negative. The highest correlation was between grain yield with number of seed per meter square (r=0.818++) , number of spike per meter square (r=0.573++) and biological yield (r=0.702++) were significant.
