بررسی اثر متقابل دمای خاک و تراکم بوته بر زودرسی و خصوصیات کمی و کیفی پنبه

Cotton is an indetenninate plant that the vegetative and reproductive growth interference. The practice of suitable management to balance its growth can play an important role in earliness and quality of final product. Promoting earliness through integrated crop management and agricultural in puts can help to increase cotton production area in the country. Unsuitable planting date can cause bad seed gennination and emergence, increase of weeds, rate of seed, decrease of plant population, replanting, late maturity and late frosting. An experiment was carried out during 1386 and 1387 with split, split plot design in fonn ofrandomized complete block with five soil temperature ( 10, 15,20, 25 and 30 ) as main plots and five plant density ( 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 ) as sub plots and with four replications. The results of first year showed that there was not any significant differences between treatments and their interaction for measured factors. Key words: plant population, Cotton, planting distance
