بررسی اثرات گرده ارقام مختلف بر خواص کمی و کیفی خرمای زاهدی (فاز زایشی)

In order to select the best pollinators for pollinating Zahidi date , an experiment was conducted using a complete random blocks with six treatments including male pollinator varieties such as 1- Lar seed born variety , 2- Shahani , 3- Ghir and karzin seed born , 4- zahidi , 5- Kabkab and 6- Boyer (by tissue culture) during four years at Jahrom Agricultural Research station in Fars Iran . Each treatment included two trees in four repetition, so the experiment had 48 Zahidi palm trees which were 8 years old. All package and practices such as irrigation , spraying , weeding and fertilizer application were done uniformly for all the trees. At date stage 20 fruit were randomly selected from each tree and different physical characters such as the length and diameter of the fruit , the length and diameter of the seed , the weight of the fruit , the weight of the seed, the weight of the pulp seed ratio , the length and fruit diameter ratio, the fruit volume , the weight of bunch , the percentage of fruit setting , pollen grain vigority and chemical characters like PH , TSS , acidity , reducing sugar , total sugar humidity , dry matter , ash and protein of seed were calculated and recorded. The information and results derived from SAS and SPSS stastical calculating program , were analyzed and tested accordingly and the characteristic mean were compared by Dankan test. The Dankan comparing mean pattern test showed that the differences between the percentage of fruit setted and the pollen vulgarity in 1% area and for the seed length , seed weight length and fruit diameter ratio , production and humidity in 5% area were significant. According to this experiment , the Zahidi pollen grain and Ghir and karzin seed variety were introduced as the dominating male varieties as compare to the others for pollinating Zahidi female variety.
