36 Abstract: In order to evaluate the possibility of forage cacti production in Naft Shahr region of Ghasre Shirin of Kermanshah province, an experiment based on randomized complete block design was conducted during three years with different irrigation treatments such as without irrigation, each 15 days interval, each 30 days interval and an irrigation and three replications. Irrigation starts in Khordad month. Some agronomy traits such as pads number, plant height and plant survival were measured. Data were analyzed with MSTATC statistical program and mean square compared with Dancan's multiple range test. Analysis of variances results show that irrigation treatments and its interaction with the measurement time was significant at 1% statistical level. Plant survival was 75, 57, 43 and 38 percent respectively under 15, 30, an irrigation and without irrigation. In general we recommend cacti production in Ghasre Shirin but it need good pad and the best planting dates. Keywords: Forage Cacti, Irrigation periods, Pad, Ghasre Shirin.
