بررسی تاثیر تاریخ برداشت بر کمیت و کیفیت بذر ارقام استاندارد گوجه فرنگی

In order to determining of the best harvesting time for obtaining maximum tomato seed quantity and quality, a split plot design in time was done for two years from March 2007 based on Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications in Khorasan Razavi Agricultural and Natural Resourses Research Center. Main plots were six tomato varieties including Mobil, Peto Early CH, Gina VF, Early Urbana, Kal.J. and Karoon. Sub plots were harvesting time including five cutting from 27th July with a 15 days intervals. Traits under study were fruit yield, seed yield, seed extraction percent, hectoliter weight, uniform seed percent, germination percent and rate. Each year produced seedling, transplanted to field in 5th May and cultivated in 3,6 ا 6 square meter plots with three rows and 40 cm inter-row spacing. In each harvesting time all fruits of mid rows of each plot collected and traits were measured in laboratory. Combined analysis for two years data showed that tomato varieties were significant for all traits except to uniform seed percentage. Also interaction between variety and year was significant for all traits except fruit yield. Harvesting time and also three interactions i.e. harvesting time ا variety, harvesting time ا year and harvesting time ا variety ا year were significant for all traits. In variety mean comparisons maximum fruit yield, seed yield and seed extraction percent was belong to Karoon, maximum hectoliter weight was for Early Urbana and the maximum germination percentage and rate was for Kal.J. 3th and espetially 4th harvesting time were superior in all quantitative and qualitative traits. Generally, the most yield and the best quality of tomato seed is obtained from harvesting the crop in Mid August Mid September.
