چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Novel technology has been used to capture human motion in an unconstrained environment, especially during running. It has been claimed that foot pronation is associated with lower injuries during walking. Different shoes designed to reduce the risk of injury in athletes. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of motion control shoe on kinematic parameters during running. Methods: Studies were in initially sought in English languages from the Google Scholar, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, and PubMed databases. Data extraction was performed by the four authors. Following keywords were used for searching process: kinematic, motion control shoes, and running. Eight studies were considered suitable. Finally, a total of 6 studies were placed in the review process. Results: A motion control shoe is recommended to reduce risk of injury associated with rearfoot eversion and knee internal rotation in mature females runners. However, effect of motion control shoes have not be evaluated in individuals with lower limb malalignment especially foot pronation.
