چکیده مقاله:

Introduction andObjectives:Bird flu is a type of viral disease that is caused by the Orthomyxooviridae family. Has been known since the late 91th century and has caused a sporadic but serious outbreak among the poultry. The virus itself has three types A, B, C. Type A is subdivided by H and N antigens. The viruses that are isolated in the tests are from virus A and from the subtypes H5 and H7.There are many examples of large-scale economic losses that occur in Iran and abroad, which indicate the importance of preventing this dangerous disease. On the other hand, the dominant strain of most Iranian farms is H1N2, and is not considered as a wild influenza serotype. We can reduce the harm caused by this deadly and harmful disease by relying on planned biosecurity, transferring the appropriate maternal immunity to the chicks and regular vaccination program.Materials and Methods:Performing blood sampling from 20 suspected cases of influenza in 6 months, Blood sampling from at least 20 specimens in each farm was done randomly at the end of breeding period between the ages of 45 and 55 days.Samples were sent to the relevant laboratory and the HI duplicateinfluenza test was performed. Conclusion:The average titers of broiler farms suspected influenza were reported from 6.5 to 9.6and the average, total titer of a suspected flocks was 8.According to the results, it is said that by decreasing the maternal immunity, the bird becomes more sensitive to the disease.Since there are no recombinant vaccines in Iran, therefore in order to cope with this pathogen agent, particular attention should be paid to the sustainability of biosecurity.
