Military of The Sasanian Empire and It’s Place in The Government

In this study, subjects such as the role and purpose of the army, border garrison, combat skillsand troops of the Sassanian and armed men salary are reviewed. In Sasanian era, the Aryansettlement was one of the States of Iran that Aryans built towers and castles there to protectthemselves. During Sassanid era, Ardashir was the first person that organized the social classesand Sassanid armies like the Achaemenid and Parthian relied on cavalry, military authorities’position, and all types of a military at the time. Border garrison, military techniques, the castletaking, the soldiers confront with prisoners of war, and soldiers food and water supply had asignificant impact in Sassanid era.
