With the dissemination of mass media, audiovisual translation has taken on an added importance. However, although it occupies a great amount of time in our life, it can be said that audiovisual translation has not attracted enough attention from translation scholars. Nowadays, the film translation in human societies is an essential requirement, especially dubbed films for children that have its own properties. In fact, the present study has tried to show that the dub children animated movies using different Persian dialects can be more acceptable. So films especially those for children bring about some constraints and challenges which will put a strain on the audiovisual translators.The present study aimed to answer how dubbing with different Persian dialects can be an efficient solution to some of the obstacles that audiovisual translators face, such as the transfer of dialects, swears words and humor into Persian. It also, identifies and studies the constraints and challenges systematically in the example of an animated movie and study the translator’s strategies in the framework of target-oriented approach and domestication approach. This study is tested through analysis of the two kinds of translation of an animation movie, Lorax, that first dubbed into formal Persian by Honar Namay Persian company and it showed by IRIB, and second dubbed by GloryEntertainment company with a particular focus on using Persian dialects for dubbing and testified that dialectal dubbed version of the animation is more acceptable by audience .This study tried to show that translators and dubbing companies have significant scope for improving the quality of their output, especially by adopting a more functional translation approach and make the translated dialogue have a similar effect on the target audience by using social dialects to achieve the goals
