The influence globalization on feminism

The core objective of this article is to evaluate the influence of globalization on gender identity and to display the impact of globalization on women’s sociopolitical status, norms and attitudes, plus to find out how this new era of world order changes and alters traditional norms and conditions dominating women’s life in general. Does this process develop women’s gender awareness? Does it cause to increase women’s presence and participation in political and social realms of society? It would be difficult to answer all above questions in this relatively short article therefore, as entry to the vast complex world of women in contemporary history; I will be discussing concept of globalization process after fall of Soviet Union , emergence of new gender identity in global world and gender and ethnicity within context of the relation of gender and globalization
