چکیده مقاله:

Thin films at micro and nano scales have increasing applications in modern microelectronic devices. Heat conduction in such devices may deviate from the predictions of the Fourier law, due to boundary and interface scattering and the finite relaxation time of heat carriers. In this paper 3-d heat conduction in a diamond object due to a heat source is investigated numerically. The problem is solved in two sections, at first the heat source is fixed and the other it's move with a fixed velocity along an axis. For analyzing this mechanism, the transient three dimensional equation of phonon radiative transfer or EPRT is derived from the Boltzmann equation and then it is solved numerically using the discrete ordinate method. The results of EPRT are compared with the predictions of Fourier Law. Comparison of the results shows significant difference between EPRT and Fourier predictions.
