Some Structural Systems Proposed for Tall Buildings Located in Earthquake Areas

The paper presents various shapes of some structural systems invented and proposed by the author as themain bearing structures of the tall buildings and the foundation system for the heavily loaded objects.Most of the proposed systems were worked out as results of suitable transformations of simple shapes ofcertain types of spatial structures. Buildings designed by means of the proposed structural systems can besafely located in the earthquake areas, they can be applied as mega-structures in new or in the presenttime cities and moreover they can obtain individual and interesting architectonic forms.
