چکیده مقاله:
This study attempts to explore the impact of firm specific factors on capital structure decision for a sample of 68-firm listed on Tehran Stock Exchange during 2003-2012.The study use EGLS regression in analyzing the factors that influence capital structure decisions. We investigated the effect of profitability, tangible fixed assets, growth opportunities and firm size on capital structure.Statistical results show that profitability, tangibility and firm size are positively related to the capital structure, while growth opportunities are related negatively. The association between growth opportunities and capital structure is found to be statistically significant while profitability, tangibility and firm size have insignificant relationship with capital structure.
