چکیده مقاله:

Over the past ten years, social media engagement among Generation Z has grown dramatically, shaping their behaviors and mental well-being. This study, titled "A Clinical Study on the Impact of Bloggers' Content on Mental Health and Social Identity of Generation Z", explores how social media use relates to psychological disorders and privacy perceptions within this cohort. Applying partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), we examined key variables including information overload, online self-reputation, social media fatigue, psychological disorders, and privacy concerns. Our findings indicate a clear positive link between information overload and social media fatigue, emphasizing the cognitive strain from excessive digital content. Interestingly, unrestricted access to information, or open researchability, does not significantly contribute to fatigue, suggesting that Generation Z users may effectively manage online information. Additionally, both addictive flow and concerns about online reputation are associated with higher social media fatigue, highlighting the draining effect of intense engagement and image maintenance. This fatigue, in turn, strongly contributes to psychological disorders, demonstrating the significant mental health risks of prolonged social media interaction. Moreover, the study reveals that both psychological disorders and privacy concerns influence Generation Z's reduced intention to engage with social media, reflecting a self-regulatory response to mitigate negative outcomes. Overall, these results provide valuable insights for mental health practitioners and social media developers, emphasizing the importance of promoting healthier digital environments and strategies to support psychological well-being in younger populations
