چکیده مقاله:
This review article examines the concepts of mental health and family functioning, focusing on the principles, theories, and indicators related to these two variables, and explains their place in psychological research. The aim of the present article is to systematically review the theoretical and research literature related to mental health and family functioning, explain the dominant theoretical frameworks, and identify the main indicators and components of these two constructs. The research was conducted using a narrative review method, and reputable domestic and foreign scientific sources published in the last ten years were reviewed and analyzed focusing on specialized articles and books. The findings of this review show that mental health and family functioning are multidimensional and interconnected concepts that have been explained by various psychological and family theories, and the indicators of each play an important role in psychological assessment and interventions.
