چکیده مقاله:

Flexible packaging printing for the food industry is done using rotogravure and flexographic printing. These machines use inks based on a mixture of solvents that are difficult to recover. All printing processes that use solvent-based inks include a drying step, during which the solvent in the diluted inks is released into the atmosphere by the drying sections (ovens) of the printing machines. In order to solve the environmental problem and to deal with highly variable emission flow rates and significant solvent mass flows, a regenerative thermal oxidation coupled with a heat recovery system for heating the diathermic oil was designed. Ultimately, the use of this system resulted in the concentration values of pollutants emitted into the atmosphere being significantly lower than the regulatory limits set by European standards (<۵۰mgC/Nm³). Also, energy consumption was minimized and the ability to reuse heat in the production process was achieved.
