چکیده مقاله:
Introduction: Whole body vibration occurs when a person is placed on a vibrating surface, and hand and arm vibration is a type of vibration, that involves the upper limb. Due to the importance of the dangers caused by vibration, the present study was conducted with the aim of evaluating exposure to whole body, hand and arm vibration in a number of workers of an industrial company in Ahvaz city. Method: Measuring the vibration of the whole body and hand and arm in three directions (X, Y, Z) was done. Then weighted equivalent acceleration by using the formula was obtained. And finally, the obtained values were compared with the standards OHSAS ۱۸۰۰۱:۲۰۰۷, ISO-۲۶۳۱(۱۹۸۵) and occupational contact limits of pathogenic agents of the Iran health Ministry. VIBRATION METER TV۳۰۰, was used to measure the amount of vibration in three directions. Results: The findings showed that according to the standards used in this research, the amount of exposure to whole body vibration in all positions was lower than the daily exposure limit, but the amount of exposure of the drill worker to hand and arm vibration was higher than the standard limit. Conclusion: According to the results obtained from the evaluation of whole body vibrations in the present study, was found that the workers are probably facing the safety limit of the vibration level. Due to the high level of exposure of the drill worker to hand and arm vibration, health care training, use of anti-vibration gloves, work rotations can be effective for reducing the risk of health effects.
