چکیده مقاله:

Transportation of goods is one of the major activities in any supply chain, and vehicle routing has been always a prominent problem in distribution industry. The vehicle routing problem has been combined with various other significant problems such as location and inventory.Incorporating different aspects of the real-life problems, such as time windows and limited vehicle capacity, into modelling results in a more realistic model. In real-world situations, companies may have to choose the markets to which they provide their goods in order to maximize their profit. In this paper, an idea of combining the vehicle routing problem with market selection is presented. The problem arises in the case when the distributor has to decide on the markets to which the vehicles deliver the products. In this study, a mathematical programming model considering time windows, limited vehicle capacity, and a heterogeneous is proposed and implemented for a case of dairy productssupply chain. The results show the potential applicability of the proposed model
