The interval type-2 fuzzy 1-median location problem on tree networks

In this paper, we investigate the 1-median location problem on tree networks in which the vertex weights are interval type-2 fuzzy numbers. First, we propose a new ranking method for ranking interval type-2 fuzzy numbers. Then, an optimal algorithm is presented for solving the problem based on our proposed new ranking method
