Study of Importance and Performance of Active Protection in Order to Prevent and Control of Avian Influenza

Influenza virus type A of orthomixoviridea family considered as the pathogenic agent of avian Influenza, which is so significant in economical and hygienic issues. Therefore, early taking care and diagnosis of disease sounds essential. The goal of this study considered as a comprehensive and functional response to various active protection methods in avian influenza disease and their importance. This study revised data of more than 48 books and national/international articles. Active protection of avian influenza has been used to diagnosis of subclinical infections or previous infections of different subtypes as a rapid warning system and/or expression of being free of cities or countries from dangerous influenza based on World Organization for Animal Health (OIE); these significant information need to epidemiological, serologic and virology studies of aquatic birds, available birds at birds supply markets, rural birds and industrial birds with long breeding time. Therefore, performance of active protection should be noticedin order to reduce the outbreaks of disease, discovery of probable places, reduce of fatality and increase of utilization at avian industry.
