As greenhouse effect due to intemperance of fossil fuel consumption, is the reason of global warming, attempts have been made for substitution of renewable energy for conventional fossil resources in last decades. Also, release of cow manure as the waste of the livestock activities has resulted in environmental contamination. So, ADs are utilized toeliminate harmful micro-organisms in a chemical and organic process in absence of Oxygen. For improving the efficiency of the AD proper agitation of all the feedstock inside the tank of the AD is necessary. In this study, the mixing quality of the cow wastewater in the Malard Stock Yard digester is analyzed while the cattle manure feedstockconsists of various total solid concentrations. The geometry of tank and impellers would be sketched via ANSYS Design Modeler and the gridding would be performed in ANSYS Meshing. The simulation would be conducted via ANSYS Fluent in which non Newtonian properties of the manure feedstock are regarded. Finally, different contours would bepresented and using user-defined Functions the magnitude of dead volumes would be calculated for various concentrations of total solids in the feedstock.
