The relation of socio-personal profile with role subdomain of life quality in women under treatment for breast cancer

Introduction: breast cancer is one of the most common diseases in women. The aim of this research was to investigate the relation of socio-personal profile with role subdomain of life quality in women under treatment for breast cancer.Method: this descriptive-cross sectional study was performed in 1395 on all women under treatment for breast cancer referring to Ghazi, Alzahra, Valiasr and Shams hospitals in Tabriz. The test sample was consisted of 166 which were chosen according to availability method among the women under treatment for breast cancer. Data gathering tool included socio-personal questionnaires and quality of life questionnaires (QLQ-C30) in women with breast cancer. Results: there was a meaningful relation between job, monthly income adequacy for life expenses, diseases stage, matrimonial satisfaction and caregiver of the patients and their roles.Discussion: according to the findings of this research, it is necessary that caregivers try to expand the role of the patients and consequently improve their life quality by planning and providing educational backgrounds.
