چکیده مقاله:
Background and Purpose: Due to the increasing use of radioactive material and given the importance of reduc-ing the radiation dose received by people exposed to these substances the purpose of this study is the investi-gating the dose of some tracing compounds in the radiotherapy section. Materials and Methods: In this study of patients referred to the hospital’s nuclear medicine for nuclear medicine scan of the heart and bones have been studied. Patients were divided into two groups: the first group of 100 patients with myocardial perfusion imaging to radiopharmaceutical technetium dose depends on the weight of 99 between 18 and 22 mci and the second group of 100 patients who had bone scans and Technetium-99 radiopharmaceutical dose depends on the weight they received between 25 and 27 mci. Conclusion: Based on the maximum dose was observed in the first hour as well as a significant difference was observed between 60 and 90 minutes, but within 30 to 90 min-utes a sharp reduction has been detected in the dose range due to the half-life of the used radiopharmaceutical. On the other hand, after 60 min another reduction in the detected dose from the body of the patients could be recorded. This is the best time for doctors and nurses to do their special works on the patients.
