چکیده مقاله:

This study investigated the effect of multiplayer serious web-based video games on students learning. The study consisted of all male students in the sixth grade of elementary in Baghestancity of Shahriar in Tehran Province in the academic year 1394-95 who were studying mathematics. Simple size was selected by using Cochran formula, so 50 students from grade 6 of elementary school in Dehmaviz of Baghestan were selected in multi stages sampling approach. The samplewere divided randomly by a simple random way of selection into two group of 25 (control and experimental groups’). Research method was full experimental design with pretest – posttest and control group. At last after treatment, posttest of achievement in the case of mathematic, fraction,was administrated for two group. Research instrument was an achievement test of fraction whichwas made by researcher the reliability of this test was calculated 0/75 by using KR21. In order to data analysis descriptive and inferential was applied (T test of independent). Finding showed thatmultiplayer serious web-based video games had significant and meaningful effect on the students’ learning of grade 6 of elementary school in the case of fraction
