چکیده مقاله:

Cultures and languages influence the way of society view and expression. Translation has always been considered a communication tool among different view and expressions.It is important for a translator to convey the message from source text in a way understandable for the receiversin target text. Translation of CSI_ as here refers to culture-specific items that includes material, social customs, religious concepts, traditions in one language and culture but nonexistent in the other language and culture_ is one ofthe most important concern. Using appropriate and suitable method strategies in dealing with CSI is one of the mainduties of every translator. The present paper is conformed to identify and compare strategies applied by two native Persian translators oneHushang Pirnazar and other Najaf Daryabandari in rendering the culture specific- items of the Adventures of HuckleBerry Fin novel by Mark Twin according to Baker s (1992), Newmark s (1988) and Vinay and Darbelnet(2001) model. After analyzing the corpuses according models it was revealed the translation by cultural substitution strategy was seen to be used the most strategy and explanation as footnotes to be used the least strategy by two translators.
