چکیده مقاله:

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer after Lung cancer is the second leadingcause of cancer deaths among women is considered. Breast cancer in women because ofthe impact on quality of life , including physical, mental and social well-being is particularlyimportant. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of chemotherapy on the functionalaspects of the quality of life of women with breast cancer. In this cross-sectional study of 72women with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy, referring to Tabriz city hospitals (Imam-Reza †Sina †Shahid Ghazi) were randomly selected. Data were collected byquestionnaire collected demographic and quality of life and quality of life of cancer wasbreast cancer. Generally, after four rounds of chemotherapy, the average functional aspectsof quality of life: physical, social, role, emotional, cognitive and sexual significantly decreasedcompared to before chemotherapy. T test results significant difference between the mean ofquality of life before and after four courses of chemotherapy showed. Because chemotherapyreduces the functional aspects of quality of life in breast cancer patients undergoingchemotherapy , so the medical and nursing intervention in order to maintain their quality oflife so that patients can be felt in the course of treatment , their roles in families andcommunities to take .
