An organization’s performance is affected by its suppliers’ performance, and obtaining sustainable suppliers is a strategic decision in order to be successful in today’s competitivemarket. The supplier election problem involves various qualitative and quantitative criteria. In the supplier selection procedure, there are very constraints, so it is urgent to specify the best way to opt one of them. In this paper, a multi criteria framework based on fuzzy multi attributesdecision making (FMADM) is proposed in order to evaluate and compare the company performances in terms of social sustainability of the supply chain. However, mark that decreasing all aspects of sustainable supply chain to a single unit using a multi-criteriaframework may not be sufficient to satisfy all the needs of decision makers. At first, the fuzzyanalytic hierarchy process and fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to idealsolution is applied in order to analyze the importance of multiple criteria by incorporating experts’ opinion and to determine the best social sustainable supplier. Then, TOPSIS is applied to evaluate the suppliers. At last, the efficiency and application of the proposed approach have been illustrated with a numeric example.
