Application of the variational iteration method to inverse hyperbolic problems

In this paper a numerical method consists of inversehyperbolic problems are presented. By using a sensor locatedat a point inside the body and measuring the temperature ata point x = a, 0 < a < 1 and applying Variational iterationmethod to the inverse hyperbolic problems. Numerical resultsshow that a good estimation on the unknown functions of theinverse problems can be obtained within a couple of minutesCPU time at pentium IV-2.53 GHz PC.
