چکیده مقاله:
Students in higher education face numerous challenges, including academic pressures, high expectations, and concerns about their future careers. These factors can lead to increased stress levels and decreased mental health. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental health, perceived stress, and learning quality in undergraduate and graduate students. Findings: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between mental health and learning quality; such that improving mental health is associated with increasing learning quality. Also, stress has a negative and significant relationship with learning quality. The findings indicate that high stress and mental health problems (such as anxiety and depression) act as major obstacles in the learning process and reduce concentration, memory, and academic motivation. The final model showed that mental health plays an important mediating role in reducing the detrimental effects the quality of learning. Conclusion: The quality of learning in higher education is not only dependent on educational factors and teaching methods, but is also strongly influenced by the psychological state and stress level of students. Therefore, providing counseling services, stress management workshops, and creating supportive environments in universities is not only a welfare need, but also an educational necessity to improve the quality of learning and academic success of students.
