چکیده مقاله:
Lattice structures have been manufactured by the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) method as an additive manufacturing (AM). LPBF method consists of manufacturing layer by layer via melting and solidification of metallic powders. Mechanical properties of the samples produced by the LPBF method are different from the samples that have been manufactured by the traditional methods. Local characterization of the AM produced parts by the tensile test is nearly impossible. The instrumented indentation tests on the surface of the lattice structures were simulated by the FEM method and the applied load-indentation depth curves were obtained. The relation between the unloading slope of the curve and the elastic modulus was developed. The obtained elastic modulus was compared with the elastic modulus, which was predicted by the FEM simulation. The elastic modulus of the lattice structure was also obtained as a function of the strut’s diameter and the elastic modulus of the struts.
