چکیده مقاله:

Solar pools, as an effective technology for thermal energy storage, face challenges in performance optimization. In this paper, various methods of increasing the efficiency of solar pools using phase change materials (PCM) and numerical analyses are investigated. The results show that the use of PCM can lead to improved efficiency of solar pools. Solar pools, also known as solar thermal pools, are pools that use solar energy to heat water, reducing or even eliminating the need for traditional heating methods like gas or electricity. The technology behind solar pools typically involves solar panels or solar collectors that absorb sunlight and convert it into heat. This heat is then transferred to the pool water through a system of pipes or a heat exchanger. The primary advantage of solar pools is their environmental friendliness. Since they rely on the sun, a renewable energy source, they produce little to no emissions and have a minimal carbon footprint compared to conventional pool heating systems. In addition, solar pool heating can significantly lower energy bills over time, making it an economically viable option for homeowners or commercial pool owners. The system works best in areas with ample sunlight, especially during warmer months. Solar pool heating is a cost-effective long-term solution, as the installation cost can be recouped within a few years through savings on energy bills. Furthermore, solar pool heaters are relatively low-maintenance and have a long lifespan. However, the system's efficiency depends on various factors, including the size of the pool, the geographical location, and the design and orientation of the solar collectors. Despite some limitations, solar pools are an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to conventional pool heating systems.
