چکیده مقاله:

Objectives: High-arch and flat foot deformities can adversely affect individual performance in various contexts. These conditions may influence postural control, which is crucial for executing routine activities and sports effectively, as well as for injury prevention. This paper presents a comparative meta-analysis of postural control in individuals with higharch and flat foot deformities compared to those with normal feet. Methods: This study is a systematic meta-analysis of research articles published between ۲۰۰۴ and ۲۰۲۴, sourced from MEDLINE/PubMed, EMBASE/SCOPUS, LILACS, CINAHL, CENTRAL (Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials), Web of Science, PEDro, and Google Scholar. Results: The results indicated that individuals with high-arch and flat foot deformities had a significantly lower total balance score compared to those with normal feet (p=۰.۰۰۱). However, no significant difference was found in the total balance between individuals with high-arch and flat foot deformities (p>۰.۰۵). Additionally, individuals with flat feet demonstrated weaker performance in the postural control test on a force plate compared to those with high arches (p=۰.۰۰۱). Conversely, dynamic balance results were consistent across all groups (p>۰.۰۵). Conclusion: Our findings suggest that individuals with high-arch and flat foot deformities exhibit poorer postural control compared to their normal peers. Furthermore, those with flat feet scored lower on postural control tests using force plates than individuals with high arches; however, no
