Service life prediction of reinforced concrete structures based on considering its durability against chloride ions penetration should be designated in the design of marine concrete structures. In addition, the incorporation of supplementary cementing materials (SCMs) could increase the durability of concrete against chloride ions ingress. In this study, the durability of cement-based materials against chloride ions penetration containing silica fume, calcined clays with four different kaolinite content, and limestone powder as SCMs through binary and ternary blends (named LC۳) have been compared with the control mixture. In this regard, the ۲۸-day samples were submerged in ۱۶۵ g/l NaCl solution and after ۴۲ days were tested according to NT build ۴۴۳ test method. Further, the compressive strength, electrical resistivity and capillary water absorption were measured. According to the result of this study, there is a good relation between the results of apparent chloride ions diffusion coefficient (Dapp), secondary rate of water absorption and total Al۲O۳ content of mixture and a model for estimating the Dapp has been presented.
