چکیده مقاله:

Along with the advancement of technology and global developments, transportation systems are also being updated. The electric vehicle system is the result of the epidemic of electric energy in the industry, which has gained significant favor among users and policymakers due to its compliance with sustainable development goals. However, it is not simply a matter of sustainability to replace this system with diesel engines, which account for a major share of human and goods transportation, and it is planned to justify the use of this system in transportation rationally. Replacing existing diesel vehicles with electric vehicles is not an easy task and requires time and facilities to persuade car owners. On the other hand, burning fossil fuels causes the accumulation of air pollutants, which has turned this issue into a crisis for many dense metropolises. In this article, the issue of feasibility, prioritization, and the necessary conditions for replacing electric vehicles with diesel vehicles in Iran have been examined, and the results show that replacing intercity buses and private cars in metropolises should be prioritized.
