چکیده مقاله:

Southeast Asia's architecture is a true reflection of a harmonious blend between tradition and modernity. Each design and architectural process creates a captivating visual narrative that is rooted in historical influences and balanced with contemporaneity, paying tribute to the region's extensive heritage. Thai architecture is a major part of Thailand's cultural heritage, which historically reflects the importance of architecture for the social understanding and religious beliefs of Thai people. Thai culture is marked by its adaptability, open-mindedness, and qualities that facilitate the entry of Thai design into the modern and contemporary art world. Thailand combines several popular architectural styles, such as Indian, Chinese, and Burmese, with Thai architecture. However, it has developed its unique method of cultural expression. The architectural landscape in Thailand is largely influenced by monarchy culture and tradition, with numerous public spaces featuring temples and grandiose facades resembling those of empires. Leaving a unique sense of 'Thainess' as the term Thai architecture comes to our mind. However, as many Asian and Southeast Asian countries evolved towards the time, Thailand also developed and embraced modern and contemporary aesthetics. This is not only from the context of high-rise buildings and skyscrapers seen in many of its big cities, but also from the way they redefine design and architecture in a humble, modern, and tropical pathway. In this research, we intend to explore the aesthetics and meanings of the forms and influences of other countries that go into Thai architecture.
