Introduction: Turning to school after a cancer diagnosis can be a challenge for children specifically due to extended absences, physical disabilities and critical mental problems These patients experience stress, some may have concern about their physical appearance or may face short term toxicities, poor immune system, permanent sensory deficit (e g vision and hearing loss) or neurocognitive sequelae In some cases parents are worried about teasing and other possible reactions from peers that may disrupt the returning process Accordingly, supporting patients properly after cancer diagnosis is of crucial importance Therefore, it is essential to investigate children's experiences of school reentry and the obstacles associated with the educational transition process to provide optimal care and support.Materials and Methods: It was conducted on PubMed and Scopus databases using keywords including cancer”, cancer”, “children with cancer"," school" and "palliative and supportive care.Results: Based on research the role of nurses and importance of the formation of multidisciplinary team between school and hospital, make social interaction of children considered important Holding consultation with patients and family members who are involved in treatment or educational status of patients could be effective.Conclusions: Accurate plan to return children with cancer to school must be formulated The intervention could have different components training Opportunities should be provided for all school personnel and peers not just teachers Consultation with Patients, their parents and their siblings could have a good impact on reentering to school and after that holding individual counseling sessions should be continued to mind the fears and concerns of children Increasing interaction of patients and peers by means of some designed games recovers teamwork skills easier than usual and it also can have a good effect on children's self-confidence if it is competitive As a delay in providing medical assistance could result in serious harm or death, educating teachers to deal appropriately with medical emergencies is also of high consideration Moreover, returning to school is a multifactorial process so, more practical studies should be done to make these services available for all the children involved.
