This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the feasibility and potential impact ofestablishing a food waste concrete production facility in an urban setting. The proposed facility aims toaddress environmental challenges associated with food waste disposal while contributing to thesustainable development of the construction industry. Through a combination of quantitative analysisand qualitative assessment, this research investigates the technical, economic, and environmentalaspects of implementing such a facility.Key findings indicate that the urban area under consideration generates approximately ۱۱۰۰kilograms of food waste per day, comprising various organic materials such as fruit and vegetable peels,coffee grounds, rice husks, and other biodegradable residues. Analysis of the moisture content, organiccontent, and inorganic content of these waste streams reveals valuable components suitable forincorporation into concrete production processes.Based on a production capacity of ۱۰۰۰ kilograms per day, the proposed facility is projected toproduce approximately ۵۰ cubic meters of food waste concrete daily, with an estimated efficiency rateof ۸۰%. Financial projections suggest a total project budget of $۹۰۰,۰۰۰, encompassing expenses relatedto facility construction, equipment procurement, operational costs, and marketing initiatives.Environmental impact assessments highlight the potential benefits of diverting food waste fromlandfills, including reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, resource conservation, and waste diversion.Mitigation measures such as the use of renewable energy sources, collaboration with waste managementagencies, and adherence to regulatory standards are identified to address environmental concerns andensure compliance with sustainability objectives.Overall, this study underscores the importance of innovative approaches to waste managementand sustainable construction practices. By repurposing food waste into valuable construction materials,the proposed facility offers a tangible solution to the dual challenges of food waste management andresource conservation, paving the way for a more sustainable and resilient urban environment.
