چکیده مقاله:

In this paper Axial Loading and seismic behavior of Tower Cranes under near field earthquakes isEvaluaed. The discussion of results has been done to fit with the current reality of the Tehran .In thisrespect, the response of Tower Crane structures has been evaluated by analyzing nonlinear timehistories under ۷ seismic records near the fault zone. The results of this research indicate the reliableseismic behavior of the design approach based on the proposed rocking system as well as the reductionof the Tower Crane acceleration and limiting the axial force of the base. The results of this analysiswere that in all cases the performance analysis was the evaluation of structure operation analysiswithout the effect of rocking motion that it can lead to a downstream evaluation of the performancelevel of the structure during an earthquake.
