Comparison of emotional components in patients with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder

One of the biggest challenges that most specialists in the field of therapy and psychopathology face is correctly diagnosing and distinguishing between borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. The connection between borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder is a complex issue about which there are conflicting opinions, and emotional problems are the main problems of these two groups of diseases. Bipolar patients, like patients with borderline personality disorder, suffer from disturbed emotions. According to the DSM-TR-IV criteria, one of the main problems of these two groups of diseases is the inability to control and regulate their emotions.
