Synthesis and investigation of structural and magnetic properties of BN/NiFe۲O۴ nanocomposite

In this study, NiFe۲O۴, BN, and BN/NiFe۲O۴ compounds were synthesized in two steps. Investigation of their magnetic properties using X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) showed that the pure phase of NiFe۲O۴ and BN consisted of cubic and hexagonal structures, respectively. The results of XRD and VSM analysis show that the formation of the BN/NiFe۲O۴ composite has been successful.
