چکیده مقاله:

This research delves into a detailed examination of the lubrication system within a standard cone crusher, a critical piece of equipment in the mining industry utilized for breaking down ores. Ensuring proper functionality and minimizing wear on components, the cone crusher features three key lubrication passages: a central pass located in the main shaft, along with cylindrical and conical passages formed by the clearance between lubricated components. Specifically, the cylindrical passage is generated by the space between the outer body of the eccentric cylinder and the crusher body, while the conical passage is established by the clearance between the main shaft and the inner body of the eccentric cylinder. These clearance values play a crucial role in dictating pressure distribution and flow rate within the lubrication system, prompting a comprehensive investigation into the effects of radial clearances through a parametric study. Using COMSOL Multiphysics software, a ۳D model of the lubrication system is constructed, allowing for a hydrodynamic analysis to be conducted and numerical results to be obtained. The outcomes of this study emphasize the importance of selecting appropriate radial clearances to optimize the lubrication system of the cone crusher.
