چکیده مقاله:

Today, with the significant increase in population, the development of sustainable transportation infrastructure and the use of innovation in the supply and production of materials as economic and environmental parameters of sustainable development are necessary because according to the definition of sustainable development, the optimal use of natural resources without harming is vital for future generations to meet their needs. One of the issues raised as a polluting factor in transportation was the asphalt industry, which plays an essential role in the development, equipment and maintenance of roads and communication infrastructures. Increasing concerns about air warming, increasing greenhouse gas emissions, and increasing energy consumption, activists in this field have always been looking for a solution to reduce its adverse effects along with reducing the cost of production, because of the mass production of asphalt as one of the widely used materials in construction, especially road construction. Therefore, considering the increase in the costs of consumables such as bitumen and asphalt, the development of the country's roads in order to reduce energy consumption and environmental pollution, and predicting the crisis of oil reserves in ۲۰۳۵ AD, presenting plans for improving performance in the production and consumption of asphalt is necessary to coordinate this industry with the concepts of sustainable development. Researchers have always shown that by reducing the production temperature of materials, the emission of harmful gases can be reduced in the long term, and the recycling of these materials reduces production costs and preserves sustainable resources. Therefore, this concept can also be investigated in the field of asphalt production. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of applying new materials in the for sustainable development through a case study on the technological characteristics of half-warm recycled asphalt as one of the types of new materials, which is examined and reviewed with the help of qualitative research method and library study. We will discuss the research conducted in this field and finally evaluate the performance of these materials in terms of improving the process of sustainable development.
