چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Cervical cancer is a significant health concernfor women worldwide. While advancements in medical technologyhave led to earlier detection and better treatment options, many women still suffer from the disease. In recent years, researchers have begun to study how these microbescan be harnessed to prevent and treat cervical cancer. One of the most promising areas of research involves the use ofprobiotics. Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are goodfor your health, particularly your digestive system. Studies haveshown that probiotics can help prevent the growth of cancerouscells in the cervix by promoting the growth of healthy cells.Materials and Methods: – We conducted a comprehensivesearch of the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, and Webof Science .Additionally, we manually searched studies thatwere included in previous reviews.– Our primary objective was to compare the incidence of CommonToxicity Criteria (CTC) grades of RID and adverse events(AEs) between the probiotics groups and the placebo groups. We used relative risk (RR) with a ۹۵% confidence interval(CI) to determine the efficacy of probiotics in preventing RID.Pooled RRs were estimated using a fixed- or random-effectmodel, and we assessed heterogeneity with Cochran's Q andHiggins I۲ test. Two reviewers independently assessed trialquality and extracted data. We used Review Manager ۵.۲ to performthe analysis and assess bias in each of the included studies. Conclusion: Microbial biotechnology shows great promise inthe fight against cervical cancer. While more research is neededto fully understand the potential of these treatments, the earlyresults are encouraging. By harnessing the power of microbes,we may be able to prevent and treat cervical cancer more effectivelyin the future.
